Claude (Christian Clavier) and Marie Verneuil (Chantal Lauby) are blessed with four enchantingly beautiful daughters. The well-to-do retired couple can count themselves lucky that three of them are already married and have given them their first grandchildren. Unfortunately, however, from Papa's point of view, there is a fly in the ointment when it comes to his sons-in-law. None of them are what the proud Gaullist Claude imagines to be the ideal Frenchman. Of course, he can't let it show. But in reality, he doesn't like the fact that Segolene (Emilie Caen) married a Chinese man, Isabelle (Frederique Bel) married a Muslim, and Odile (Julia Piaton) married a Jew. Accordingly, he finds it difficult to always put on a good face for everyone. And his sometimes thoughtless remarks do not go down well with Chao (Frederic Chau), Rachid (Medi Sadoun), and David (Ary Abittan). After a completely disastrous family reunion, Christmas becomes a diplomatic tightrope walk.
