Plot
Storyline
During the Chosun period, a court lady is found dead, hanging by the rafters of the palace. After examining the dead body, place physician Chun-ryung discovers that the dead maid was probably murdered and carries out investigation even though her higher-ups pressure her to close the case as suicide.
A maid-in-waiting hangs herself within the palace walls, but while performing an autopsy, imperial medic Chun-ryung suspects murder and starts an investigation. With a taste for justice and full of wit, Chun-ryung bravely uncovers the deceptions, but soon confronts a hidden past kept secret by those that have far more power than she could ever expect.
