Plot
Storyline
The title refers to the government's plan at the time for putting an end to a lucrative racket, kidnapping. When Hudson and Norris enter a country house to get out of the rain it turns out to be a kidnapper hideout.
A young married couple, Loretta Martin (Rochelle Hudson) ans Joe Martin (Edward Norris), take refuge from a rainstorm in an abandoned country house used by kidnappers, who are holding a kidnapped baby for ransom. Pitch (Bruce Cabot), the toughest gangster, wants to kill the intruders but the more civilized of the gang, Tobey (Cesar Romero), stops him.
