Struggling doctor Kevin MacEldowney isn't looking forward to his 10-year high-school reunion; he was humiliated on graduation day after being beaten up by school bully Pat Prince. But at some urging from his wife Mollie, Kevin attends with her and their gay family friend Zane, a struggling composer/singer. At the reunion, Kevin encounters not only his former nemesis, but also an assortment of troubled people, each with his or her own agenda, including: lonely psychopath Grace, business loser Duncan, angry publicist Clay, writer/therapist Holly, bad-luck-streak Electra, wealthy European businesswoman Maria, and the obnoxious host, former class president Rob Levitt.
