Plot
Storyline
A woman tries to cope with having murdered her parents.
Sinthia Kyle enters puberty at 12 years old with a vengeance, murdering her parents, Lennie and Carol, one night by stabbing them repeatedly with a knife while they are making love and then burning the house down: she has always wanted her father, Lennie, to love only her. Eight years later, she is free and wants to get married, but nightmares torment her, so she seeks psychiatric help. The psychotherapist asks her to describe a dream: it is long and elaborate with dreams within dreams of Lucifer, Hell, and her parents in various forms. In order to rid herself of her guilt, the psychotherapist recommends that she commit suicide in her next dream. Instead of doing so, in this dream she falls in love with a young artist who reminds her of her father, responds to another woman who finds her attractive, and celebrates her first schoolyard kiss. The dream then takes her back to her parents' bedroom. Is a cure even possible, let alone probable?
