Plot
Storyline
A DNA experiment on a rare breed of spider is taking place on a NASA space shuttle, when a freak meteor shower engulfs the shuttle, causing everything to go horribly wrong.
Aboard a NASA space shuttle, a team of scientists are modifying spider DNA, when a massive solar flare hammers the spacecraft. As this nearly fatal incident triggers a forced landing and an unforeseen mutation, convinced that she's on to something big, Marci, a college reporter and UFO aficionado, heads to the desert in search of evidence, only to stumble upon the wrecked shuttle and its terrifying passenger. Now, Marci, her friends, and the unsuspecting inhabitants of the nearby town find themselves in grave danger, as a hairy army of unstoppable, genetically enhanced arachnids devour everything in their path. Is the world prepared for the arrival of the killer-spiders?
