Plot Storyline
Five years later, Tony Manero's Saturday Night Fever is still burning. Now he's strutting toward his biggest challenge yet: succeeding as a dancer on the Broadway stage.
Now that the good times are over, Tony Manero has relocated to Manhattan to wipe the slate clean and pursue a career as a dancer. Determined to keep his promise to himself and Stephanie after their farewell in Saturday Night Fever (1977), the former disco royalty juggles real life and aspirations while waiting for his big break. After all, Tony's improved self is prepared to jump through hoops to prove that he has what it takes to go places. Instead, he gets the door slammed in his face. But a fire burns inside Tony; the natural-born dancer has tasted the crowd's admiration before, and he wants more. When he finally lands a small part in a major Broadway production, Tony must keep distractions at bay and give his all to make it happen. However, is he still relevant? Can Tony Manero stay alive in this new, challenging world?
