Steve Winwood - Dirty City

Mikes Liaskis, a corrupt and unscrupulous sanitary inspector, has made a habit of extorting the city's businessmen to make a quick extra buck. An unrepentant philanderer, Mikes doesn't even bother to keep his shameless infidelities secret, and what's even more outrageous, he has the nerve to use strong-arm tactics to force his long-suffering wife, Anna, to give him a divorce, and finally live with his equally unethical mistress, Mara. One dark and silent night, a dangerous mugger attempts to snatch Anna's purse; however, by some miracle, the brave passer-by, Alexis, saves the day, setting in motion an unforeseen platonic relationship. Of course, this complication doesn't sit well with Mikes, who is bent on going to great lengths to destroy Anna's newfound happiness. Will Anna ever find peace and a man who truly loves her?
