As sessions unfold under the guidance of his therapist, middle aged Myles finds that the sexual abuse he shared with his brother growing up is something his family can't - or won't - discuss in detail. Meanwhile, as a tentative relationship with working, single Mom Joni blossoms, Myles finds himself fending off her adolescent daughter's prepubescent advances - just as his own fragmented childhood memories are becoming clearer. The parallels to situations he found himself as a boy with his own father unfolded very differently, however. When he confronts his father with confusing memories of their time together decades ago, Myles starts to discover the costs of speaking out.
