Plot
Storyline
The story of Denmark's most famous racehorse and the family behind it.
TAROK is a family saga over three decades and is based on the mythology of the most famous horse in Denmark, who did the impossible and put Denmark on the world map through his great victories. We follow the family from Skive with Karl Laursen, as the head of the family from 1948 to 1981, a time when all of Denmark was changed. We follow the family's struggles, their togetherness, and not least their dreams. Against all odds, the family from Skive came and won with their Tarok and gave Denmark hope. As Karl Laursen says: "Wanting, daring, that creates life's miracles."
