Plot
Storyline
Home to the world's most expensive property per square foot, the Hong Kong real estate market is akin to an exclusive club one can never hope to enter for many who live in the metropolitan city. No one understands this better than real estate agent Lung, whose girlfriend Julie has given him an ultimatum: deliver her a 1000-square-foot apartment in a stylish neighborhood, or she won't marry him.
Temporary Family is a story about the lives of four people, who are forced to live together in a apartment after a plan to resell it backfires due to the current state of the property market. Land is limited, soaring property values has made it difficult for many to own a home of their own without a lifetime of debt. Property should be a home for a family to live and to create memories together, instead of a asset. As a result, the desire to obtain property leads to the erosion of morals and values affecting future generations.
