Plot
Storyline
In order to inherit a fortune a young woman agrees to marry a young man. She soon discovers that his family harbours a dark past involving a monstrous beast.
Lucy, the beautiful young heiress to the vast fortune of wealthy entrepreneur Philip Broadhurst, agrees to marry Mathurin, son of Marquis Pierre de l'Esperance, within six months of her father's death. To honour her promise, she travels with her aunt to the castle of her future husband, a crumbling estate nestled deep within the dense, shadowed woods. But centuries ago, a wild beast roamed these very forests, driven by a thirst for unprotected virgins. Unaware of this menacing myth and the strange rumours that have long shrouded her family's name, Lucy proceeds. Soon, gruesome visions begin to torment her, and intense hallucinations unlike any other awaken her dormant sexuality. Now trapped between reality and fantasy, Lucy needs to know: Is there a grain of truth behind the shocking legend of the Gevaudan Beast?
