HANG realises that he has accidentally swapped his rucksack with FUN’s. Luckily he meets CHING, a volunteer for Life Force, who brings him to see FUN in the clinic. HANG volunteers to inject vaccines for the villagers. CHING makes fun of him for being very educated in theory, but lacking practical experience. HANG picks up a girl’s necklace and puts it on for her when he is out to take some pictures. However, his kind act brings him trouble. CHING lies to the villagers that she is HANG’s wife to settle the matter. A villager’s leg is blown off by a land mine, requiring immediate operation. Unfortunately, there is a shortage of anaesthetic, so FUN uses an alternative herbal remedy. FUN talks about how he sold his father for two dollars.
