Plot
Storyline
A dark musical enacted in a market place, situated next to a freeway. The employees of the various commercial venues deal with boredom and existential anxiety by performing cheerful musical turns. The apocalypse is a tempting liberator.
In the dead of night, while the city is fast asleep, the hard-working employees of an all-night supermarket, a busy call centre, and an empty fast-food restaurant, along with the dejected guests of a cheap long-stay hotel, let themselves get carried away by the cathartic essence of singing and dancing. But when life is drifting away while confronted with bleak career and existential cul-de-sacs, giving vent to sorrows, anxieties, anger, or frustrations is imperative. In the never-ending pursuit of happiness, what will it take to lift the unbearable burden from our shoulders?
