Plot
Storyline
Staff Sergeant Kelly Brandt, recovering from a knee injury, leads her hometown team in the annual Christmas Cup, despite her heart aching for her career. She discovers there are multiple ways to serve a community.
Kelly has served in the Marine Corps and injured her knee. She is now almost fully recovered and hopes to return to active duty. Over Christmas, she goes home to her hometown, where her father is the mayor. This year, the traditional Christmas Cup between her town and the neighboring town is being held for the 50th time. Kelly's brother does everything he can to persuade her to step in as team captain for their town's team. Kelly also meets Quinn, who is the fire chief of the fire department shared by the two towns. She convinces him to help her train the team for the competition. However, the mayor of the rival town soon pressures Quinn to serve as team captain for their team instead.
