Plot
Storyline
When a teenage boy desperately needs a heart transplant on Christmas Eve, his family and neighbors' forty-year tradition of lining their quaint street with Christmas luminaries is put on hold. When his parents, Ann and Mike, pray for a donor on a stormy night, the neighbors suddenly realize their luminaries could have a deeper purpose.
Popular teenager Matt Norman, model big brother for Tommy, suddenly collapses in gym and is diagnosed with a rare congenital cardiac condition, requiring a heart transplant fairly soon, hard to find even with is high priority. Parents Mike and Ann Norman's marriage is shaken as she sits endlessly by unconscious Matt's hospital bed and prays like possessed, he remains introvert, even Tommy withdraws. The neighborhood Christmas gang pulls together rooting for Matt, even the local grump. Finally a matching heart is found, but terribly stormy weather may prevent flying it in timely, so it may be diverted elsewhere. An unshakable pilot is part of the urgently needed Christas miracle for the Normans.
