The courier (Olga Kurylenko) works in London. On her motorcycle, she's miles ahead of the gridlocked traffic in the bustling metropolis. Her deliveries are precise and on time. One day, she's tasked with delivering a small package. What she doesn't know is that its contents are meant to kill a man named Nick Murch (Amit Shah). Nick Murch has witnessed a murder committed by Ezekiel Mannings (Gary Oldman), a New York-based kingpin. Nick, who is in the witness protection program, is to be video-linked from a secret location to the trial against Mannings in the U.S. Ezekiel Mannings is no street-level hit-man: He is the head of a criminal empire, resides in a posh apartment high above the rooftops of New York, and has a daughter named Alys (Calli Taylor), who is just as cold-blooded as her father. The FBI has placed Mannings under house arrest in his luxurious pad. Ezekiel knows there is a witness who can ruin his life. The man is supposed to die. But it doesn't come to that: When the poison gas is released from the package, the courier Nick instinctively saves his life. From then on, she must protect the man whom Mannings has set a whole swarm of professional killers on, led by Agent Bryant (William Moseley). Bryant is a traitor - and not the only one in the FBI.
