Plot
Storyline
In the primeval era, Grug and his family risk the dangers of their surroundings to find a new dwelling place. Along the way, they meet a modern boy who woos them with his adventurous ways.
Yearning to explore the great outdoors and see firsthand what lies beyond their rocky cave, the prehistoric teenage cave-girl, Eep, is the first in the large Croods family who thirsts for adventure. However, when her overprotective but well-meaning father, Grug, who believes that there's no safer place than their cave, sees their home fall apart, the Croods will have no other choice but to run for their lives in the dangerous Palaeolithic landscapes for the first time in their lives. Under those grave circumstances, only a confident cave-teen named Guy seems to know something about the impending global catastrophe; but, will Grug, and the rest of the family, believe him? In the end, will the Croods find a new place to call home?
