Plot:
Factually based drama about the true story of Julie Bailey, an ordinary woman from Stafford who blows the whistle on one of the worst scandals in the history of the NHS. After witnessing the appalling neglect of her mother and other patients, Julie launches a local campaign group to expose the awful truth at Stafford Hospital. Despite local hostility, threats and intimidation she perseveres forcing a full Public Inquiry that results in recommendations to put the interests of patients first, right across the NHS.
