Plot
Storyline
Aaron Falk returns to his drought-stricken hometown to attend a tragic funeral. But his return opens a decades-old wound - the unsolved death of a teenage girl.
Before turning his high-powered shotgun on himself, Luke Hadler kills his wife and child. Now, to attend his childhood friend's funeral, Federal Agent Aaron Falk returns to his dusty, water-deprived hometown of Kiewarra, forced to deal with the ghosts of the past twenty long years after the horrible incident that shocked the entire community. But, amid a ruinous, decade-long drought, an invisible thread connects the two bloody events. And, little by little, as Falk reluctantly digs deeper and deeper into the knotty mystery, deep-seated enmities, prejudice, and hate come to the surface.
