The Everly Brothers - All I Have To Do Is Dream

Spencer is partnered w/former BMI Pres. Del Bryant, to produce the authorized feature documentary film about the origins of Nashville through the journey of the legendary songwriting duo Felice and Boudleux Bryant. It will be a celebration of the songs and artists who recorded and were inspired by their work while examining life and culture in Nashville in the 1950s and 1960s. The Bryants earned 59 BMI country, pop, + R&B music awards, inducted into Songwriters Hall of Fame. Covers including The Everly Brothers, Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, Linda Ronstadt, Roy Orbison, The Grateful Dead, Elvis Costello, Buddy Holly, Ray Charles and more. A cinematic look at Nashville in the late '50s where Felice and Boudeleux Bryant were the bohemian, musical pioneers of the City. Evenings at their home set the tone for songwriting in Nashville. That is where The Everly Bros, Roy Orbison and other Nashville singer/songwriters gathered to hear new Bryant songs in in their kitchen, with Boudleux strumming on his acoustic guitar and young Del in the room being mesmerized by the process. Like the beatnik movement in Greenwich Village in NY when Bob Dylan, Tim Buckley and other folk pioneers got together at the Bitter End, Cafe Wha and other landmark venues, the Bryant's home was just that in Nashville.The story of the iconic, prolific songwriting duo whose contributions made legends of the Everly Brothers, Bob Dylan, Simon and Garfunkel, Linda Ronstadt, Taylor Swift Ray Charles amongst many others. Modern hit artists will be filmed performing Bryant/Everly classics at Nashville's Bluebird Cafe for our film.
