Plot
Storyline
Two vice cops get entangled in a web of prostitution, blackmail and murder.
When Sergeant Robert Walsh, a member of the Los Angeles police vice squad for eight years, arrests an important political figure on a routine stakeout, he triggers an act of vengeance that changes his life. Friends of the politician, determined to get even with Walsh without using violence, know that he cannot be bribed and that he has no family to threaten. Aiming at his emotions, they arrange for Angel, a seemingly innocent and child-like girl, to enter Walsh's life, and for the first time, Walsh falls in love. Their affair is exposed, however, and he is accused of raping the 17-year-old girl in the presence of witnesses.
