Plot Storyline

A teacher lives a lonely life, all the while struggling over his son's custody. His life slowly gets better as he finds love and receives good news from his son, but his new luck is about to be brutally shattered by an innocent little lie.

In a small Danish town, kindergarten teacher Lucas is falsely accused of sexually abusing a child. The accusation spreads quickly, fracturing relationships and social trust, isolating Lucas while intensifying paranoia and fear. The film examines collective hysteria, morality, and the consequences of false accusations, exploring how social dynamics and assumptions can escalate tragedy. It presents a tense, emotional study of community, innocence, and the fragility of reputation.
