The Hurricane Heist

During a violent hurricane, a professional gang of criminals raids a US Treasury Department facility in the small town of Gulfport. However, the criminals' plans are thwarted by federal agent Casey and brothers Will and Breeze, who are also in the storm zone. The three of them bravely stand in the way of the money robbers while the hurricane is raging everywhere. The plan seems perfect: During a category 5 hurricane, Connor Perkins and his team of professional thieves, hackers and ex-mercenaries plan to raid a US Treasury facility in the small town of Gulfport. The crooks' target is 600 million dollars worth of discarded banknotes that are supposed to be shredded. As the facility is poorly guarded during the hurricane and the corrupt Sheriff Dixon backs them up, the criminals initially have an easy time of it. But then the dedicated federal officer Casey Corbyn appears and bravely stands in the way of the robbers. She also receives support from the very different brothers Will and Breeze Rutledge. While Will, an academic equipped with a storm mobile, has dedicated himself to researching storms, Breeze, a mechanic, refuses to grow up and is struggling with a drinking problem. Over the years, the two brothers have become increasingly estranged from each other. However, they share a tragic past: 25 years earlier, their father was killed in a storm in front of them, leaving both brothers emotionally scarred. As the small town of Gulfport is completely deserted due to the hurricane and the local sheriff is in league with the criminals, Casey, Will and Breeze are completely on their own - they won't get any help from outside. In the fight against the ruthless gang of criminals and the hurricane, the three of them finally rise above themselves.
