Patrice, an aging art dealer who's had one face lift too many, is in the middle of a tough period. With no art sales in sight, the chance that her gallery could go out of business is looming ever closer. Desperate to settle her debt with her drug supplier Nate, Patrice offers up a painting in place of cash. The painting catches the attention of Nate's boss, Gordon, who operates an underground criminal enterprise from a Jewish bakery. Gordon sees the potential to use Patrice's gallery as a money laundering operation since the value of art is highly subjective. Patrice, while clearly uncomfortable with the plan, reluctantly agrees. For the money laundering ruse to work properly, Gordon knows they need more art pieces. To achieve this, he enlists the help of Reggie, a professional assassin who goes by the alias "The Bagman". What begins as a desperate attempt to save her gallery quickly spirals out of control. The artwork that Reggie produces brings about a strange turn of events and causes turmoil in the art world. Even though she feels pressure from all sides, Patrice does her best to manage the situation.
