Plot Storyline

The human city of Zion defends itself against the massive invasion of the machines as Neo fights to end the war at another front while also opposing the rogue Agent Smith.

After single-handedly defeating the unstoppable Sentinels in The Matrix Reloaded (2003), Neo finds himself trapped between the Matrix and the machine world. And as Trinity and Morpheus cut a deal with the hateful Merovingian, indestructible Agent Smith grows stronger by the minute, bent on destroying Neo once and for all. With Zion under attack, the remaining humans brace themselves up to make their tragic and heroic last stand against the enemy, and Neo makes a pivotal, game-changing decision.
