Plot
Storyline
In an English village, a reporter and a mechanic listen to a rat catcher explain his clever plan to outwit his prey.
Having devised a foolproof system to eliminate rats, a professional rodent killer arrives at a quiet village to deal with a sudden infestation. This time, however, the experienced Rat Man seems to have bitten off more than he can chew. As a result, the determined exterminator must try every trick in the book to rid a tall haystack of a pestilent rat swarm. After all, the stealthy, nimble adversary is clever; no rat goes down without a fight. But first things first. What if the tiny invaders refuse to die? And what if the cure is worse than the disease?
