Plot Storyline
Two female journalists and a photographer travel to Europe to investigate a series of mysterious disappearances, only to find themselves embroiled in a struggle against a kind of evil they never expected.
The photographer Marcus ends his relationship with the journalist Carmen since she is a workaholic and does not give much attention to him. When her boss assigns her to work with the trainee Sara on a bee farm, she asks him to work in the disappearance of the teenager Eric Taylor in Europe, but he does not agree. Carmen and Sara visit Eric's mother Laura Taylor and borrow his journal. They learn that Eric disappeared after visiting the small village of Alvania in Polland and seeing a strange fog. Carmen invites Marcus to travel with Sara and she to Poland and they head to Alvania. The population is not receptive to foreigners and when they see the fog and asks the whereabouts of Eric to the local girl Lidia, a group of young men forces Marcus, Carmen and Sara to leave the village. While driving out of the village, Carmen asks Marcus to stop the car and return to Alvania. She discloses that her boss did not authorize them to travel to Poland and she needs a news story; otherwise, Sara and she will be fired. They head to the fog and Sara enters to see; then Carmen also enters to look for Sara. They meet a devilish statue in the fog, and soon they find what happened to Eric and they are hunted down by the locals.
