Plot
Storyline
A tough U.S. sergeant and his sidekick roll into a demoralized firebase, where they attempt to rebuild morale and fortifications amid a climactic battle with the Viet Cong.
Vietnam, 1968. A veteran Marine Sergeant Major inadvertently ends up commanding a remote firebase, Firebase Gloria, just as the Tet Offensive is about to begin. He knows a very large Viet Cong force is headed for the base, outnumbering the defenders several times over. The odds are stacked against the Marines and they will have to hold out until help arrives. If it arrives.
