On a business trip to Dublin, doctor Pierre Escande stays with an elderly friend of his colleague and close friend Georges. At first glance, Pierre recognizes 70-year-old Shauna as the mysterious woman he comforted in the hospital years ago after the death of Georges' mother, who then disappeared without a trace. The freedom-loving senior citizen leads an active life, commuting between her Irish vacation home and her apartment in Paris. For 45-year-old Pierre, the encounter is like a breath of fresh air, and at the next opportunity, a medical colloquium in the French capital, the two meet again. Despite the 25-year age difference, sparks fly between Pierre and Shauna - they have plenty in common, and their young love quickly solidifies. However, family life stands in their way.
