Plot Storyline
A young boy accidentally joins a band of time travelling dwarves, as they jump from era to era looking for treasure to steal.
Eleven-year-old Kevin lives with his parents in a suburb of London. One night, Kevin is suddenly torn from his sleep when six wondrous beings, the "Time Bandits", crash to earth through a time hole and land right on his bedroom carpet. The boy learns that the "Time Bandits" have stolen a map from the Supreme Being on which all the time holes are marked through which one can jump to different eras. But now the Supreme Being is hot on their heels and they have lost their way on their journey through space and time - right into Kevin's nursery. Once Kevin has overcome his initial fear of the "Time Bandits", he enthusiastically joins the journey through time: From Napoleon's battlefield, the seven adventurers arrive in medieval Sherwood Forest, where they come across Robin Hood. In ancient Greece, Kevin becomes involved in Agamemnon's battle with the Minotaur. When the adventurers are unable to prevent the sinking of the "Titanic", they quickly jump from the sinking ship to a fantasy land. There they are imprisoned in the castle of evil. A fantastic battle between time and space breaks out, from which only the Supreme Being can save them.
