"Tippu" with a tag line, 'The Warrior of Luv', begins when Karthik (Karthik Raju) and Vaishnavi (Kanika Kapoor) saves Kesu Bhai (a brutal villain in Mysore, India) when he was attacked by a group of opponent gang. Karthik is an youngster staying at USA. He happens to visit India with his childhood best friend (Ms. Nithya) who will be brutally burnt in public by Villain (Hari Bhai)'s younger brother (Kesu Bhai) in the absence of Karthik. Now, Karthik chooses a different game plan to eliminate fear from public towards Villain groups by assassinating Kesu Bhai who targets Vaishnavi (Kanika Kapoor) for her love. Vaishnavi and Karthik fell in love with each other in college. How Karthik wins over villain to take revenge for being the reason behind Nithya's demise and trouble shooter for Vaishnavi is rest of the story.
