Reluctantly, the divorced father and workaholic hedge-fund manager, Seok-woo, boards the hyper-fast KTX bullet-train from Seoul to Busan accompanied by his estranged young daughter, Su-an, to visit her mother. However, against the backdrop of an unprecedented threat in the shape of a virulent zombie outbreak, a grotesque undead stowaway will soon enmesh both passengers and train crew in a frenzied battle for survival, as one compartment after another succumbs under the sheer volume of the freshly infected flesh-eaters.
