Set in Brixton, this show center's around the city's urban music scene. It starts as musician Qozo Medici is gate arrested on his release from prison. In custody for murder and armed robbery, Qozos story unfolds, starting with a conversation with his uncle Albert, where Qozo is given vital information about his great grandfathers diamond mines in Sierra Leone. Qozo is given sacred cufflinks which he must return to Sierra Leone. Qozo Medici, accompanied by his right-hand man Young Don, and friend Ainsley and many lieutenants, has to deal with crooked police officers, informants in his own camp, and competition with a local rival, Beaver, who robs Qozo in a setup, resulting in and explosion of crime, revenge and violence between the rival teams. The Police Departments Superintendent (Asher Senator), has his own issues, such as a corrupt bureaucracy, detectives stealing money & evidence and much more. The police team is headed by corrupt but determined DCI Rogers, and a deceptive DCI Johnson. The show follows Qozo Medici from London to Jamaica & Sierra Leone in his mission to save his great grandfathers legacy from corrupt streets, police, family & friends.
