In the village of Vasile, an ancient tradition states that if you make great palinca (local plum brandy) for the annual Village Day, you're proudly named "Vasile." If your palinca fails, you're called "Gogu" and exiled to the village's shady outskirts. Into this quirky world crashes GLUMPITOR, an alien from a fierce warrior species sent to destroy Earth. But GLUMPITOR has never felt like a warrior, and he hesitates to accept his destructive mission - until he receives a clear ultimatum from his superiors: "Conquer a planet or die." Desperate to unlock his warrior potential, GLUMPITOR instead befriends three local villagers: Vasile the Teacher, Vasile the Priest, and Vasile the Handyman. Together, they face their own battle against GOGU THE POLICEMAN, who's determined to end the beloved tradition and ban palinca from Vasile village forever. GLUMPITOR chooses to help his new friends-but will he manage to save himself in the process?
