Plot
Storyline
The film portrays the familial complexities of a household living on an island, surrounded by the backwaters of Kerala.
A fisherman throws his net through the mist over the sea and waits for the catch. He can see something afloat like a colored balloon. It is in fact, a teenage girl who is drowning. The fisherman jumps into the water and saves her. The man takes her to his hut, where she shares the daily life of the family. One day, as the rest of the family is out, the fisherman comes into the house and takes the young girl in his arms. She yields unemotionally, leaving the exploring hands of the fisherman free to play. The wife and children return to the house and discover what happened during their absence.
