Plot
Storyline
Eight-year-old Ahmed has mistakenly taken his friend Mohammad's notebook. He wants to return it, or else his friend will be expelled from school. The boy determinedly sets out to find Mohammad's home in the neighbouring village.
As a young protagonist embarks on a humble quest, a beautiful allegory of friendship and morality is revealed. The first film in Kiarostami's Koker trilogy, "Where is the Friend's Home?" is a unique melange of poetry, documentary, and fiction, that cherishes the everyday in all its abundance.
