Jimmy Corona is a struggling writer, down on his luck. His girlfriend, Lori has walked out and the debts are piling up. After several hilarious failed suicide attempts, he decides to write a book about the Mafia. Jimmy goes to see his uncle Tony, a New York "Wiseguy," who agrees to get him into the Mob. He is partnered with "Bink Bink" Borelli, a young thug on the rise, who soon grows tired of Jimmy's inability to hand the "Goodfella" lifestyle. Eventually Jimmy is put to the ultimate test - he will have to kill someone to "make his bones" or face up to his luck finally running out.
