After the death of her father, Tess returns to the winery she ran away from as a teen to escape her father's amorous clutches. Her father died without a will, so Tess inherited the winery. which is being run by her aunt and her adopted son, Joe. Tess, a single mother, plans to sell the winery, but Aunt Margaret and Joe wish for her to keep it in the family--which is where their family keep everything. Tess and Joe are soon attracted to each other, and he tries to seduce Tess--and would probably have been successful had not Tess' son walked n on them. Meanwhile, Tess' school buddy is now the sheriff, and he is also attracted to Tess as he investigates a series of mysterious disappearances in the county. Nothing is what it seems at the winery or Tess' incestuous family--and no one is whom they seem.
