Morgana, a museum thief, triggers a supernatural catastrophe when she accidentally frees an ancient Djinn trapped within a fire opal. As the entity assumes a human guise and begins harvesting souls through twisted interpretations of mortal wishes, Morgana suffers from psychic visions of his carnage. Haunted by the murder of an innocent guard, she seeks guidance from a priest, Gregory. Together, they decode ancient texts revealing the Djinn's apocalyptic endgame. After the entity migrates to Las Vegas to accelerate his collection, Morgana utilizes a final, selfless wish to restore the man she killed, achieving the spiritual purity required to re-imprison the creature. She successfully seals the Djinn back within the stone, averting the end of the world.
