Plot Storyline

Despite being a beggar in Kazakhstan, teenage illegal immigrant from Tajikistan tries hard to get education. Soon she is helped by a suspicious stranger.

Erkin, once a famous writer now works as a Security Guard at the Kazakhstani Film Studio. As his only daughter dies he meets Ademoka, a plucky and precocious gypsy refugee girl who wants an education. As Erkin begins to help Ademoka, he reconnects with the art that gives his life meaning and he writes his best script, a heroic narrative for the end of his own life.
