#1137 is a micro-short film about a young girl who is trapped in her own state of mind while in the coma. Based on the writings of poet, Tyler Knott Gregson. A young woman (Bryanna McQueeney) is dressed in a hospital gown looks lost as she looks upward near a river fed by a small waterfall. A narrator reads her thoughts in a poem. "There is no one coming, it's you, and only you that can save you." The woman face is spattered with mud. She begins digging into the direct ferociously. "Stare into your own eyes and find the courage hidden below the fear." The woman cleans her hands in to the water and reflects. "See those eyes look back, brave the better You mocking from behind the pane." Still kneeling, she cups her hands, scoops up water and washes her face. "Even a dying crow, ash black, proud, and thirsty, will kiss its reflection for a drink." She stares straight ahead, perhaps a bit refreshed. 6*
