After Baxter wins $50,000 in a sweepstakes contest during the Christmas holidays, on an impulse he begins donating to those less fortunate. Unfortunately his fiancee acts like he's being selfish in not sharing each and every spending decision, all while she decides to increase their wedding budget and plans an expensive Bora Bora honeymoon. Meanwhile, he meets Pamela, a struggling widowed mother with a young son. She has a much bigger heart than his fiancee, and he begins to fall in love with both Pamela and her son Westin.
