1989 - A Spy Story

1989: A time of change. Double agent Saskia Starke finds herself in an emotional state of turmoil as the end of the GDR looms. She lives in West Berlin as an agent for the Stasi. Officially, Saskia Starke works at the American Embassy, is married to an American, and has two children with him. Unofficially, that means she works for the CIA. The Stasi has thus succeeded in positioning an agent directly within the ranks of the class enemy. But then something happens that no one could have anticipated months earlier: the GDR is about to dissolve. This upheaval causes Saskia's life, which was based on a lie from the very beginning, to implode.
