Caught up in a vicious circle of meaningless relationships; shallow friendships; false promises, and unfulfilled aspirations, Christina, an underpaid twenty-three-year-old saleswoman, thirsts to spread her wings. Still living under the same roof with her widowed mother, Christina is eager to become emotionally and financially independent, yearning to rediscover herself and redefine the boundaries of her freedom. And, knowing that there is no time to lose, Christina summons up the courage to rent a cosy, relatively affordable shoebox apartment in the heart of Athens.
