Storyline
Abandoned by his father and ignored by his mother, Paul seeks love and affection with the soldiers and other men he meets on the streets of Paris during the German occupation.
In 1937, and later during the Occupation, Paul is a child ignored by his parents and left on his own. He is placed in a boarding school and then separated from his father, who leaves the household. As he enters adolescence and through the people he meets, he rejects the society that has excluded him, as well as the school he cannot bear. Against the backdrop of war, seeking affection, he has his first sexual experiences with several men and one woman. Eventually, he answers a job offer to work as a film extra.
