A House on the Bayou

In Houston, the real estate agent Jessica "Jess" Chambers finds that her beloved husband John Chambers is unfaithful and is betraying her with his student Vivienne Ballard. John says that he repents the affair, and she proposes that they spend a week on vacation and have a family trip to a house on the Bayou that she is responsible for in her agency. Further, they shall not tell his affair to their fifteen-year-old daughter Anna Chambers. They arrive at a huge mansion by the swamp and Jess asks John to buy booze and veal to eat. Meanwhile, she will record the interior of the house for the agency. John goes to a market with Anna, where they meet the owner Grandpappy and his grandson Isaac. Anna tells Isaac where they are and John buys hamburgers since he does not like veal. When they arrive home, Jess says that there is a closed room that she does not have the key and John lies saying that there was no veil in the market. Soon Isaak arrives at the house and invites the Chambers to have dinner with Grandpappy and him, and the dish will be veil. Jess accepts the invitation and has an argument with John since there was veil in the market. Anna does not feel well, and they give up going to the dinner. But out of the blue, Isaak knocks at their door, says that they had problem with their stove and his Grandpappy will prepare the dinner at their house. Soon mysterious things happen in the house and Jess questions whether Isaac is an evil being.
