Plot Storyline

During the Qing dynasty, after the destruction of his Shaolin monastery, a Shaolin monk, who's a highly skilled martial artist, travels to the south to solicit donations to build a new monastery, but the Qing's lapdogs are on his heels.

International favorite, David Chiang, stars as the great Chih Shim, the monk who saved the Southern Shaolin Temple. Joining him is Lo Lieh, the Shaws' first international star who returns to his famous role of Shaolin renegade Pai Mei. The result is a true martial arts epic.
