Alexandria: Again and Forever

Yehia Eskandarany, a renowned Egyptian director whose life and work are in crisis, is confronted by a strike of actors and filmmakers that paralyzes Egyptian cinema. He reflects on the deterioration of his relationship with Amr, his favorite actor, and the reasons for their breakup, both artistic and personal. Confronted with these memories and the evolution of Egyptian cinema, Yehia finds himself drawn to a young actress, Nadia, whose presence stimulates and enriches his creativity. The narrative blends realism and fantasy, weaving together behind-the-scenes dramas, dance numbers, and imagined film projects, to explore the nature of artistic collaboration, love, and the very role of cinema.
