Plot Storyline

Selma, a retired nurse, is an extremely loving mother for his son Raimundo, in an almost incestuous relationship. One day, she becomes aware of some changes in her son's behavior. At first, she thinks it may be some girlfriend. But soon she learns it's something else.

Selma, a widowed and retired nurse, lives with Raimundo, her 24-year-old son, in a middle class neighborhood in Sao Paulo. Mother and son are very close. Their routine starts being disrupted, when Raimundo changes his behavior. Selma is jealous and fears that her son might have a girlfriend. The fear of losing his affection blinds her to what is coming.
